This has been a Dark Horse over the decades, with a brief period in the eighties of etching press building then etching, drypoint on acetate etc, and detailed engineering pen drawings. It galloped into prominence in 2020 as Peter finally began the long-envisioned illustration process for his epic, while laid up with a broken heel. He created over seventy India ink drawings for volume one, The Girl and the Guardian, using dip pens and fine brushes. Some he has coloured with watercolour washes, or redone as paintings.
Peter has also done woodcuts for embossed book covers for limited editions of his books and blank notebooks, and some stand-alone woodcuts.
